Professional DB Coach Demonstrates DB Drill For Hip Mobility
We are back to fundamentals, here we are preforming a basic turn and run drill! This footwork and speed drill is great to help Defensive backs increase their foot speed and turnover out of their back pedal while playing man-coverage.
Please make sure that the defensive back keeps his hips bent and his body poised while doing this drill. The DB should not be tight. Maintain a fluid motion.
I would suggest you use a long line on the field so you can have some sort of gage on how efficient you are in your steps.
Try to stay on the line as long a possible.
The more efficient you are the closer you will be to the ball! 🏈🔥
