Senior Safety Aaron "Tre" Jenkins from Stockton, CA Needs To Be On Your DB Radar

At 6-foot 1-inch and 195 pounds, Senior Safety, Aaron "Tre" Jenkins is wreaking a lot of havoc on opposing offenses in the St. Mary's High School defensive backfield.  A sure tackler with a nose for the ball, Tre Jenkins not only provides solid run support in the secondary, but he also makes quarterbacks second-guess due to his ability to close on a receiver and make plays on the ball.

With deceptive speed, Tre is also a playmaker on special teams, returning several kicks for touchdowns for the St. Mary's Rams.  Because of his size, he gives many receivers a run for their money, and is great at setting the edge in run support.  You better keep your head on a swivel with Tre on the field, as he is certainly known to "bring the hat", maintaining his reputation as a physical, aggressive defensive back.  In his junior season, Tre racked up 93 total tackles, 6 INTs, 2 FFs, 6 TFLs, and churned a lot of real estate with over 1,000 all purpose yards and 6 touchdowns with the ball in his hands.

Tre has great body control with solid hands, allowing him to make plays on the ball in the secondary.  Good footwork reduces any wasted steps, which heightens his ability to make plays in space.  With his high football IQ, the St. Mary's prospect will make a solid Division 1 player.  Mr. Jenkins will be a prototype safety for many top-tier programs.  Jenkins has interest from Arizona, Navy, Nevada, San Jose State & UC Davis.
