Corona Centennial vs. Mater Dei: Battle in the trenches 💪
The Corona Centennial Huskies dominated Rancho Cucamonga High School last week with a 54-20 win. Mater Dei also scored 50+ points with a 56-17 win over Mission Viejo High School last week. This week Corona Centennial will match up against Mater Dei to see who will advance to the CIF-SS final. Much of the Huskies success comes from their dominating defensive front led by standouts Drake Jackson and Korey Foreman.
These two Huskies have been giving offensive lines terror all season long, making it difficult for any offense to move the ball. This Friday’s matchup will be a great one as Mater Dei has a stellar offensive front, including standouts Luke Felix-Fualalo & Myles Murao. As always, whoever controls the line of scrimmage will likely end up winning the game. Standout wide receivers Bru McCoy (Mater Dei) & Gary Bryant (Corona Centennial) will light up the scoreboard if given the chance. It will be a good one, for sure!
